The constellation of Orion the hunter has to be one of the most recognisable constellations in the night sky.
This event will focus on the many wonderful objects within this myriad of stars, from the complex and beautiful Orion nebula where new solar systems are forming to the red giant star Betelgeuse, this event has it all.
Join us for an interactive talk in the classroom and then to the array of telescopes utilising cameras and computers to peer into this majestic constellation

Gary is a very experienced science communicator and astronomer, and founder of the Kielder Observatory, where he was Director and CEO for over 11 years.
