Your little ones will enjoy an interactive talk in the classroom and then children will be able to see and touch rocks from space – meteorites.\nA stunning interactive talk on space stuff in our purpose-built classroom and then weather permitting outside under the stars for some stargazing and peering through telescopes.\nHot chocolate and radiators if needed too!\nAll in all\, a wonderful introduction to Family astronomy under the dark skies of Grassholme.\nTerms and conditions of booking\nSafety is our first priority – you must adhere to all instructions of the team leading the astronomy session and You must not do anything to compromise the health and safety of yourself or others and must report any concerns or risks to the onsite team immediately. Although brighter\, these skies also have planets and other bright objects visible\, and are equally as beautiful\, as the inky dark evenings of later in the year\, although less stars are visible.\nAfter the observing ends\, it’s back inside for a hot drink and a chat\, before you head off home!\nTerms and conditions of booking\n1. Safety is our first priority – you must adhere to all instructions of the team leading the astronomy session and You must not do anything to compromise the health and safety of yourself or others and must report any concerns or risks to the onsite team immediately.
