Join us beneath the dark skies of Grassholme Observatory for an unforgettable evening exploring one of nature’s greatest spectacles – the Milky Way.
Discover why summer offers the best views of our home galaxy as our astronomers guide you through its shimmering star clouds, glowing nebulae and hidden treasures. Using our powerful telescopes, you’ll journey deep into the heart of the Milky Way, observing star clusters, colourful nebulae and distant celestial wonders invisible to the naked eye.
Whether you’re new to astronomy or a seasoned stargazer, this is a unique opportunity to experience the Universe under some of England’s darkest skies.

Tonight’s event promises to be a spectacular evening of astronomy.
